2022 AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Spurcroft (also known as the PTA) was held on Wednesday 14th September at 7:00pm in Mapledurham Hall.

The AGM is a formal requirement that we (as a registered charity) must carry out each year, the purpose of the meeting is to update our community (that’s you) on our current financial situation, what we have spent money on over the past 12months, and how we plan to move forward for the new school year.

SCHOOL LOTTERY!

We are very excited to announce that FoS are now signed up to YourSchoolLottery. To purchase tickets please visit: Spurcroft School Lottery

In Spring/Summer 2021 FoS challenged our school community to share with us their family faves from the kitchen. Take a look at the amazing recipes that were submitted - let us know if you try any of these out!!!

Ways you can help:

  • Attend the next meeting to share your ideas for activities
  • Sign up to our online shopping schemes: Easyfundraising & AmazonSmile.
  • Ask your employer if they offer match funding – next time we have an event they can support us to help raise our totals.
  • Attend an event or enter a competition – every ticket, drink, burger, or ice-cream sold helps us to raise money to spend on the school and its students, plus you get to have fun!
  • Follow us on social media, like, comment and share our posts. By being engaged in our social media pages helps us to stay listed and expand our visibility.
  • Donate outgrown uniform – our nearly new uniform shop helps us to raise approx. £300 per year, but more importantly it is a much used and needed resource – especially those jumpers, we can’t keep our supplies filled.
