Wild Wood Club

Wild Wood Club is open for key families over the Easter holiday

The club will be open for 10 days, including the Bank Holidays. The two weeks will be run as a holiday club with fun holiday activities and sports coaches coming in.

Children will be entering the club through the main WWC door at the far end of the car park.  This is a fairly small place to gather so we suggest that you stagger dropping off wherever possible, and observe social distancing of standing 2m apart.  We ask that parents don’t come into the main building, unless they need a confidential word with staff.

Miss Page in the school office has passed your child’s contact and medical information to the Club Manager Anna.

If you need to contact staff in Wild Wood Club, you can call the normal school number 01635 871541.

For non-urgent questions you can email

If you have booked a place but your child is not attending, please phone or email to let Anna know.  If you need extra sessions, please contact using these methods, not through emailing the school office.

Anna Curylo is the Wild Wood Club Manager and will be running the club.  In her absence, Jane Dickety and Charlene Gair are Deputy Managers.

Anna Curylo is the Safeguarding Lead in the team and there will always be a member of staff who is first aid trained on site.  Although there won’t be a member of the school Senior Leadership Team on site at all times,  Kate Flowerdew and Alison Attwool (the School Business Manager) are available to come to the club to support staff if needed at any time.

Other club staff are Sarah Kirton, Sarah Roberts, Caroline Webb, Glen Millar, Gemma Petch, Rachel Flowerdew, Leora Atwool.  In the club the atmosphere is more relaxed than in school and children tend to call staff by their first name.

We will be giving pupils a hot meal each day, but if they prefer, they can bring in a packed lunch.  The school kitchen is no longer operating, but Wild Wood Club staff have kindly offered to cook.   The staff cooking lunches have appropriate training and food hygiene certificates.

The lunches for the first week will be:

Cheesy pasta

Sausages, crispy potatoes and sweetcorn

Pasta bolognese

Tomato soup  and garlic bread

fish fingers, chips and beans

If your child needs a vegetarian alternative on meat days, please email Anna on

We will be buying food for the second week and will let you know the menu by Friday next week.

If you have any questions please email Anna on

We are a play work setting, therefore we do encourage children to make their own choice of play whether it is inside or outside. We offer a free-flow system where children can choose to play in or out throughout the session. We also ask children to help with the planning of new ideas, games and activities they would like to see offered to them at the club.
