Wild Wood Club

 

MAY HALF TERM

We are planning  to run the Wild Wood Club on the following dates: 

Tuesday 28th May-Friday 31st May

Opening hours: 8.00 – 18.00

 

Prices:

All day session:

8.00 - 18.00 - £32.50; price includes breakfast, 2 snacks and hot dinner. Parents need to provide a packed lunch.

 

Half day session:  

Morning: 8:00 - 13:00 – £17.50; price includes breakfast and snack

Afternoon: 13:00 - 18:00 - £17.50; price includes snack and hot dinner

 

School hours’ session:

9:00 - 15.30 - £25; price includes 2 snacks. Parents need to provide   a packed lunch.

 

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We require a minimum number of children per session to allow the club to run.  There may be some days that we have to close the club because there were not enough bookings to make it possible to run.

Flexi short afternoon session - 3:15pm - 4:20pm - £6.50 (includes snack)

Afternoon session – 3.15pm – 6.00 pm -  £15 (includes snack & hot meal)

About the Club

Wild Wood Club provides affordable high quality child care provision for parents/carers of 4 – 11 year old children, before and after school and during the school holidays. It is primarily for children to play and relax in a safe and friendly environment. We follow the school values. You can find our policies and procedures here on this page.

In Wild Wood Club we have experienced and qualified staff which provide a high standard of care.

All staff at the club ensures that the safety of the children comes first in any circumstance and adopts the school’s policies and procedures.

Activities

 

The club offers a variety of activities for all ages such as art & crafts, sports, role play, construction, cooking, team building, competitions, quizzes and much more.

 

We are a play work setting, therefore we do encourage children to make their own choice of play whether it is inside or outside. We offer a free-flow system where children can choose to play in or out throughout the session. We also ask children to help with the planning of new ideas, games and activities they would like to see offered to them at the club.

How to book

You can book by email:  wwcbookings@spurcroft.w-berks.sch.uk or directly with the club with a completed booking form, which you can collect online or directly from the club.

 

Bookings are made on a first come first served basis.

We have a maximum of 40 spaces per session.

 

Please note the terms and conditions must be signed, dated and returned with completed booking and registration forms. If registration forms and terms and conditions are not received, we cannot accept the booking. If you have not used Wild Wood Club before, there is a £100 deposit per child required to be returned with the booking forms.

 

You can pay for your booking by the following:

  • Childcare vouchers
  • Bank transfer
  • School money

Meals & Snacks

The club offers a 3 week menu.

 

Breakfast can be hot or cold meal which consists of a choice of cereals, toast, porridge, milk, fruit and juices.

Snack is offered as soon as school has finished with a choice of light snack such as breadstick, crackers, biscuits, vegetable sticks or a piece of fruit with juice or water.

 

A main meal is offered to the children for their dinner for example; pasta bake, curry, sausage & mash, pizza etc. and as a second option jacket potato with cheese, beans or tuna and sweetcorn We respect your child dietary requirements.

A pudding is given after dinner. We are pleased to offer among others home made cake, ice cream, yoghurt or fruit.

 

Also fruit, juice or water is offered to all children throughout the session.

Illness

Children should not be sent to the club if they are unwell. Parents will be telephoned if their child should fall ill at the club and must ensure that up to date contact details are with the club at all times.

Prescribed medicines may be administered with the agreement of the club manager. A consent form must be completed and signed by parent and handed in with the medication to the club.

 

Arrival/Collection

All children will be greeted and signed in by member of staff on the registration form.

Staff will not send a child home with anyone they do not have permission from parents. Should the club be unable to contact a parent by 6.15pm social services will be phoned. The club has the right to charge £10 for a late collection fee.
