Spurcroft Primary School was lasted inspected in November 2022. Here is our most recent report:
Our school has been graded ‘Good’.
The inspecton report highlights:
· the rapid improvements to our phonics teaching and the successful use of the Read Write Inc scheme;
· the strong start pupils make in early years;
· the strengthening of our whole curriculum;
· the improvements to learning behaviour in classrooms;
· our strong staff and governor teams who are ambitious for pupils and work effectively to drive improvements.

During the year 2023-24 improvements were made to the teaching of reading, and this led to an improvement in reading results in Summer 2024.
