PSHE & RSE at Spurcroft

Our intent for PSHE and RSE

At Spurcroft Primary School, we believe that Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) and Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) help children develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives, now and in the future. It helps them to stay safe and become healthy, independent and responsible members of society while preparing them to make the most of life and work. Throughout our school, we encourage pupils to form their own views and share their opinions. 
We recognise the importance of mental health and emotional well-being. Our curriculum aims to help pupils learn to understand and regulate their feelings, have good physical and mental health, be able to make and maintain positive relationships, be able to identify and manage risk and develop personal attributes of respect, tolerance, perseverance, kindness, responsibility and courage.
