The Mental Health Support Team (MHST)
The Mental Health Support Team launched in 2020 and are a team of mental health practitioners working within the NHS to support children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health. Support from the team can be accessed via a GP referral or through a school referral directly. Miss Philp is the senior mental health lead for Spurcroft and can be contacted via the school office. Alternatively, please inform your child’s class teacher who can pass these concerns on to Miss Philp.
